I very much need a garage and am applying for a variance on 3 items. 1. Over 25% of surface covered by impervious surface. My lot was already over 25% covered in 1984 when I purchased it. Many neighbors have garages and are over 25% covered. I have not added any impervious cover since 1984 when purchased. Majority of blacktop parking area is on road right of way from before I owned property. 2. To build 3 ft. from lot line (Neighbor agrees to this). Lot is only 50 ft. wide. 3. To build 15.5 ft. from the road right of way line. This is 36 ft. from the edge of the actual road. It is right next to my present blacktop parking area.
