Motion Arthur Espeland - Approved Motion was made by Randall Mann, seconded by Cecil Femling and unanimously carried, to table the applicant’s request until the June 10, 1999 Board of Adjustment meeting. June 10,1999 Meeting - There was little discussion made as Lake Leaf township approved the variance to install the drainfield. After consideration vthe, motion was made by Cecil Femling to approve the variance and that from now it is between the landowner and-ttle township, the second motion was made by David Holmgren. Minnesota June 10,1999 Page 5 Jon Christenson - Approved Jon Christenson, Perham, MN, requested a variance to subdivide Lot 6, Block 1, Hillview Estates into two parcels of less than 5 acres. Parcel A, as identified on the registered surveyor’s drawing, will have approximately 128,800 square feet of area, approximately 195.15 feet of lake frontage and approximately 175 feet of width at the building line. Parcel B, as identified on the registered surveyor’s drawing, will have approximately 82,000 square feet of area, approximately 198.9 feet of lake frontage and approximately 200 feet of width at the building line. The property is described as Lot 6, Block 1, Hillview Estates, Krebs Lake in Edna Township. Randall Mann questioned Mr Christenson about the size of the other lots asking if they were the same size, the answer was no they are smaller. The board didn’t want developers coming before them requesting break of parcels in the future. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration, motion was made by Randall Mann that the variance be approved on the basis that the lot be of excess of 200 feet from the lake and 80,000 sq ft from each lot with motion was seconded by Richard Sha. All votes were carried unanimously. Cleve Edward Fitzsimmons - Approved Cleve Edward Fitzsimmons, Eden Prairie, MN, requested a variance of 132’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 200’ for the replacement of an existing 12’ by 60’ 1971 Buddy Trailer, with a new 26’8” by 48’ trailer 68’ from the ordinary high water level. The property is described as Lot 3, Freeman’s Beach First Addition, Dead Lake in Dead Lake Township. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. The discussion was made about how the Fitzsimmons were planning on removing the current trailer and bringing in the new one,it was stated by Mr Fitzsimmons that they had approval from their neighbor. There was also discussion on the existing the porch which was approved to stay at it’s location by Randall Mann and seconded by John Everts. Cecil Femling was concerned about their septic system but Mr Fitzsimmons stated they have a contained holding tank approved. After consideration, motion was made by David Holmgren to approve the new trailer as long as it is behind the string line and no closer to the lake than the existing structure. The high water level is 68 feet. The second motion was made Randall Mann with all votes carried unanimously. It should be noted that the drain field would not be less than 3’ from the road surface. The property is described as Lot 17, Block 7, and part of Reserve E lying north of Lot 17, Leaf Lake Pleasure Grounds, West Leaf Lake in Leaf Lake Township. June 3,1999 Meeting - A letter from the Leaf Lake Town Board granting permission to extend the drain field no more than 18’ or 3’ off road surface into the township road right-of-way was read for the record. After discussion and consideration, motion was made by Randall Mann, seconded by Cecil Femling and unanimously carried, to table the applicant’s request until the June 10, 1999 Board of Adjustment meeting. June 10,1999 Meeting - There was little discussion made as Lake Leaf township approved the variance to install the drainfield. After consideration the motion was made by Cecil Femling to approve the variance and that from now it is between the landowner and the township, the second motion was made by David Holmgren.
