After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by John Everts and carried with Cecil Femling voting no, to approve a variance of approximately 18’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100’ for the construction of a dwelling approximately 82’ from the ordinary high water level which will be approximately 12’ from the top of the bluff with the condition that necessary precautions must be taken during construction to stabilize the bluff area and to prevent erosion. It was noted that the granting of this variance request will place the new dwelling 12’ further back from the ordinary high water level than the placement of the existing dwelling which was approved by site permit number 7770.
