Charles Holtgrewe, Detroit Lakes, MSI, requested permission to install
a drywell on property to serve as a cesspool for a sewage system on
lot 3, Maple Lane Beach, Dunn Township. After consideration, motion
was made ty Victor Petterson to grant approval, hardship being terrain
of property. The motion was seconded ty Roger Marty and caurried upon
the following vote:

Msrhle Messer, Fergus Falls, MN requested permission to construct
dwelling 175' from NE lake, on pt. of SE^SW^ of Section 11, Buse Town
ship. After consideration, motion was made by Marcus Wiechmann to
approve the requested variance of 25' from set back requirement of
200', due to unique topography and abnontally high water. The motion
was seconded by Victor Petterson and carried upon the following vote:

Patricia Irvine, on behalf of applicants Glenn Nelsen, Henry Smith
and Gordon Hilsman, requested permission to re-align lot; lines, in
G.L. 1, Section 26, Rush Lake Township. Motion was made by George
Whiter to rescind the motion on the matter that was made at the April
3rd meeting. The motion was seconded by John Everts and carried upon
the follcwing vote:

Motion was then made by George Walter, to grant permission to relocate '
the property lines to conform to location of buildings for the sake of
correcting and conforming to side lot requirements. Ihe motion was
seconded by Marcus Wiechmann and carried upon the follcwing vote:

Alton Burgum, Arthur, ND, represented by Ted Koland, requested per
mission to construct family room onto existing cabin, 57' frcm lake
on Lot 2, Pelican Beach, Scambler Tcwnship. After consideration,
motion was made by Jdin Everts to approve a variance using the "string
test" allowing building no closer to the lake than the neighbors on
either side. The motion was seconded by Victor Petterson and carried
upon the following vote:

Veryl K. Johnson, Henning, MN^ requested permission to build an 8' x 10'
storage building fifteen feet from shore, on Pt. Lot 5, Section 21,
Leaf Lake Township. After consideration, motion was made by John
Everts to deny for lack of hardship. The application was then with
drawn by Johnson prior to a second.
Arthur H. Wagener, Waconia, MN, requested permission to split a 2.01
acre parcel with 400' of lakeshore, in G.L. 1, Section 15, Edna Tcwn
ship, into two equal metes and bounds description parcels. Also
appearing was JceEsser. After consideration, motion was made Victor
Petterson, to approve provided the split results in two buildable
sites requiring no further variances, each lot having no less than 150'
shoreline, 200' deep, accompanied by a surveyor's drawing. Hardship
being practical disposal of a ramant piece of property. Ihe motion
was seconded by Marcus Wiechmann and carried ipon the following vote:

has made application to the Otter Tail County Board of Adjustment for a Variance as
per requirements of the Otter Tail County Shoreland Management Ordinance or the
Subdivision Controls Ordinance. The Otter Tail County Board of Adjustment will assemble
for this hearing on June 5th 3^9 86^ 9:00 p.m. , in the Commissioners
Room of the Otter Tail County Courthouse, Fergus Falls, MN. (Please use Law Enforcement
entrance).
This notice is to advise you that you may attend the above hearing and express your
views on the variance requested.
