The Otter Tail County Board of Adjustment met at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 5, 1982, with the following members present: George Walter Frank Lachowitzer Tom Stringer Craig Anderson John Everts Chairman Walter called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m., and hearing no objections declared the minutes of the July 2nd meeting approved as. mailed. The following applications for variance were considered: '’Kenneth M. AndersbtirW1HT0l^||WiT|~~TR|tresfe'd^ermiss^ a 6^5' x 10’ utility^**^ shed remain 1‘ from lot line, 12' from lake on Pt. of G.L. 5, Section 21, Leaf Lake Township. After consideration, motion was made by Tom Stringer to deny approval , for failure to show hardship as required under the ordinance. The motion was onded by Frank Lachowitzer and carried with John Everts voting "no". _________________________________________ ' ■■ - - -_________________________________________________________________________________________________ ‘ry Carl Davis, Barnesville, MN, requests permission to place a garage 5' from property line, 20' from road right-of-way, on Pt. of G.L. 4, north of Sunset Beach, in Section 28 of Dunn Township. After considerable discussion, motion was made by Tom Stringer to grant approval, subject to town board approval, of the right-of-way variance request, basis of approval, no precedence being set as same situation al­ ready established, the terrain makes another location not feasible. The motion was seconded by George Walter and carried. Motion was made by Tom Stringer, seconded by John Everts and carried, to table action on the side yard variance request, not enough information to either grant or deny request. David Wickland, Bismarck, ND, did not appear. Julius Hanson, Fargo, ND, requested permission to allow a camper trailer to remain on the Ervin Weeks property, on Lot 2, Block 1, Madsons Prairie Lake Beach, Pelican Township, as a second dwelling on lot. AFter consideration, motion was made by Frank Lachowitzer, seconded by Craig Anderson and carried, to deny approval, as there is an existing dwelling on the lot. The utility shed in question is in fact one foot or less from our property line and it definitely restricts our southerly view of the lake.
