south side of the property so that I may construct a seasonal cabin, and an

WHEREAS, the 1989 campaign of the United Way of Fergus Falls, INc.,
will commence on September 16, 1988, and
whereas, contribution to this campaign supports fully, or in part,
22 organizations, and
whereas, employees, by mutual agreement between United Ways, are
asked to contribute where they work in order to utilize payroll with
holding ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Otter Tail County Board of
Commissioners encourages the participation of all county employees
in their United Way Campaigns,

This is to inform you that at the September 7, 1988 meeting of the Otter
Tail County Planning Commission a motion was passed to approve your
conditional use application to allow a maximum fill of 2 feet in the area
between the inplace driveway and the old driveway (see drawing on page 3),
and on the slope to the lake - it is allowed a maximum cut of 1 foot (from
the oak tree to the west property line) and must be no closer than 10 feet
from the lake - must stabilize the area immediately.
The Otter Tail County Board of Commissioners will consider this application

Denied; A motion by Stringer, second by Ackley to deny the preliminary
plat. West Battle Beach, developer, Carol Ann Sersland, (Taylor
Investment) , West Battle Lake, 56-239, GD, in Pt. G.L. 1 & G.L.
2, Section 26 and Pt. of G.L. 1, Section 25, Everts Township that
was presented to the Land & Resource Management Office (along
with a conditional use application dated August 16, 1988) to be
considered at the September 7, 1988 Planning Commission Meeting,
and not to consider the revised preliminary plat that was
received at the September 7, 1988 meeting: reason being that
there was not adequate time for proper notification of the
revision. John Alden (Taylor Investment) and Roy Smith
(surveyor) represented the application; Bill Buel (Taylor
Investment) spoke in favor of the request; Philip Olson expressed
concerns regarding the plat, Don Walker opposed the request and
Gene Porter expressed concerns regarding the request.
Voting; All members in favor.
Approved; A motion by Stringer, second by Olson to approve the conditional
use application of Blase & Marie Bienick, South Turtle Lake, 56-
377, RD, on Big Island - all of Blocks 1,2 & 3 and Lot A through
5 and Outlots A,B & C, Section 3, Tordenskjold Township allowing
to remove materials from areas 1,2, & 3 as follows; 1. Area 1 -
may move a maximum of 6 feet providing applicant leaves a level
top and may slope it to the north. 2. Area 2 - to allow a
maximum cut of 4.5 feet and the top of the finished grade shall
be level with the area between Lots 1 & 2 and also shall leave
the Basswood Tree on the north side. 3. Area 3 - may pull the
ridge down as requested. 4. Lot 4 - (this area is a filtering
basin) may place fill in the south 57 feet (the non-cattail
area), the finished grade is not to exceed the road to the west -
driveway to the south or the old driveway to the east.
Voting; All members in favor.
