Benjamin! Jenson , Dent , MN,requested permission to split off a parcel with 94’
lake frontage, from S.L.B of G.L. 2, Section 9, Star Lake Township, tabled from the
April 7th meeting was returned for discussion,
by Tom Stringer to approve, subject to several conditions, being that appropriate
deeds be prepared, executed and delivered, whereby the deed back to Mr, Jenson~
would include a restriction such that the westerly portion that remainsjafter re- •
moving the easterly pal^t of S.L. B would be restricted to usb of dwelling for a single
family only, and the reason would be that there would be one less resort on the lake,
one less unit on the lake, no precedent established because the road and shoreline con
figuration are unique, also approve a side lot variance of five feet for each of the
two lots created by the division, Line of division would be equadistant between the
two existing houses, subject to a surveyor's drawing, hardship being getting rid of
a resort, with an improvement of existing conditions. The motion was seconded by

Gary A. Eckhoff, Henning, MN, requested permission to record a document containing
metes and bounds description calling foif” the West 450' of the NE4 of Section
36, Leaf Lake Township, without a land survey.After considerable discussion, motion
was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by George Walter and carried, to approve, because
of the fact the property lies in the corner of a quarter section, with three established
lines, the fourth line lying parallel to the section line, easily defineable.
Robert Fritz, Fergus Falls, MN,requested permission to construct a duplex 20' from
the road right-of-way,on Lots 1 & 2, Whispering Springs, Block 4, Elizabeth Township.
After listening to various interested parties, and after discussion, motion was made
by John Everts, seconded by Tom Stringer and carried, to deny request, no adequate
hardship shown.
Jack Thompson of New York Mills appeared for a pre-application hearing
on a request to transfer a parcel of less than 2h acres without platting.
Motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Frank Lachowitzer and
carried, to table action on applications of William Kent, Gasselton, ND, and
Kathryn Leitch, Fergus Falls, MN, for non-appearance.
With no further business, at 10:00 p.m.. Chairman Walter declared
the meeting adjourned.
