I Acmistmcnt SecretaryMarch 18, 1991 Date Board o OTTER TAIL COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT APRIL 4TH. 1991 LESLIE FRONNING-APPROVED Leslie Fronning, Fergus Falls, MN, requested permission to split a tract of land less than 2,5 acres without a surveyor's drawing, Property would be a part of the nW 1/4 NW1 /4 of Section 24 in Buse Township, After consideration, motion was made by Victor Petterson, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to approve the split of a tract of land that would be less than 2,5 acres subject to providing a surveyor's drawing. There is a public road and this meets all the platting requirements except for hard drawings. The new tract would be 1.61 acres in size, A variance from the township has been obtained and a public access road is provided. DAVID AND JILL HOLSEN-DENIED David and»J111 Holsen, Moorhead, MN, request permission to enclose the existing deck space (8' by 16') and make it a part of the existing cabin. The southeast corner of the enclosed deck would be 68' from the ordinary high water mark. Variance required for the enclosed deck space to be ahead of the string line, Property described as Lot 2, Block 2, First Addition to Sunrise View Beach, Lake Lida in Lida Township, Eight letters which had been previously received from various individuals in favor of the Holsen's variance request were read for the record, Linda Leach appeared and spoke in favor of the request. After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson to allow the Holsen's to build up to the string test line. This motion died for a lack of a second. After additional discussion and consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by George Walter and carried with Victor Petterson voting no to deny the variance request as no hardship had been shown. JACK AND KATHERINE NEWBERRY-APPROVED Jack and Katherine Newberry, Oak Creek, CO, having previously conveyed the E'ly 200' of a 600' wide metes and bounds tract, would now like to request permission to split the remainder into two lots. Each being approximately 200' wide and containing approximately 80,000 square feet. Property described as Part of G,L, 7, Section 29, West Red River in Friberg Township. Jeffrey Gunvalson represented the Newberry’s at the meeting. After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by Cecil Fern ling and unanimously carried, to approve the requested split into two lots subject to providing a surveyor's drawing of the new lots, The two new lots provide adequate building sites and ail requirements of platting have oeen met, except for the hard copy drawing. No other variances should be necessary. PAUL HAGEN-APPROVED Paul Hagen. Pelican Rapids, MN , requesting an after the fact permit to allow a 7' variance fr om the side property line and to allow a 6' by 24' addition to the lake side of the home. The addition being in excess of 100 square feet. Property located on Lot 4, Second Addition to Birch Grove, Franklin Lake in Dunn Township, After consideration, motion was made by Victor Petterson, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to approve a 7' variance from the side property line. This would be consistent with the side property line setback of the original structure.
