Before it could be completed, we have been continuously held up by rain and snow. Oiu* conditional use permit required completion by October 30, but this has become impossible due to weather. We are hopeful that there will be some dry weather yet this fall and the road could be completed. We think this would be better than leaving it as it presently is and finishing in the spring. Therefore, we request an extension of 30 days to complete this work. Probably, if bad weather persists and we cannot finish by then, we would have no choice but to finish next spring. Yours truly. Gerald Rufer Planning Commission November 1, 1995 Page 6 Gerald Rufer/Craig Vaughn CUP #5453; Gerald Rufer requested the Commission extend the October 30, 1995 completion date of his road project (Conditional Use Permit #5453) since the adverse weather we experienced in October did not allow the project to be completed. A motion by Trites, second by Barker to grant an extension to November 30, 1995. Voting; All members in favor. Rodney Richter - No Formal Action; Bill Kalar discussed with the Commission a proposed Cluster Development on a farmsite (with over 700 acres) for Rodney Richter, Loon Lake (56-523). Mr. Richter was requesting to file a Conditional Use Application without the required surveyor's drawing. After discussion, the Commission recommended that other options such as a subdivision (5 acre metes & bounds) or an attachment of the existing house and the proposed mobile home be explored. If these options are not feasible, then a cluster review could me made without a surveyor's drawing. A scale drawing of the proposal would be required. At 11:05 P.M. Motion by Lee, seconded Lindquist and unanimously carried to deny consideration of the above application based on M.S. 282.241 whereby, unless the property is homesteaded on the date of forfeiture, such repurchase shall be permitted during one year only from the date of forfeiture.The time period for submitting an application for the repurchase of this non-homestead parcel expired on August 31, 1994. Conditional Use Application - Gerald Rufer/Craia Vaughn Gerald Rufer addressed the board regarding a contingency by the Planning Commission that this project be subject to the preparation of an Environmental Assessment Worksheet.
