Pursuant to adjoumment, the Board of County Cotmissioners of Otter
Tail County met Friday, i^ril 4, 1986. Chairman Olson c^Jened the
meeting at 1:43 p.m., with all members present.
Upon notion made by Bert Hovland, seconded by Hub Nordgren and unani-
itvously carried, the minutes of the March 25th meeting were approved
as mailed.

^totion was made by Bert Hovland, seconded by Sydney Nelson and unani
mously carried, to approve the application of Steven Lehmann, for
license to sell non-intoxicating malt liquor at Mosquito Heights in
Pine Lake Township, a pro-rated license from May 15th through the
30th of June, 1986.
Beer License
Sheriff Union Requests The following Sheriff's Department Union requests were presented to
the Board and discussed, with no official action taken:
Compensation: $50.00 per month,
(effective 1-1-86)
Martin Luther King's Birthday as a paid holiday.
Sick leave over 120 days shall be banked.
Step increase provision frx3m dispatch to patrol (1-1-86).
Shift differential of $1.00 per shift for employees worlcing
a majority of hours betv/een 6 p.m., and 6 a.m
Severence pay:50% of unused sick leave (not banked) with 10 years service
60% of unused sick leave (not banked) with 15 years service
75% of unused sick leave (not banked) with 20 years service
$16.00 health insurance coverage

and reported on the two concepts of .increasing the bed capacity in
the new jail facility, reporting the possible additional cost to
be approximately $189,000, using contingency funds as part of the
funding.
