RE: Dear Mr. and Mrs: Brooks, On Tuesday, July 13, 2004, I spoke with David Hauser, Otter Tail County Attorney, regarding our conversation concerning the current use of the above referenced property. Mr. Hauser was not certain as to the enforceability of the Board of Adjustment conditions considering the subdivision of the property has occurred and the Original applicant is no longer one of the properl/owners. Mr. Hauser did indicate that it would be proper to send the property owner a letter noting an expressed concern ^ with the current use of the property. Enclosed for your reference is a copy of that letter. Mr. Hauser suggested that I mail the letter to the property tax statement address. At this point, I will provide Dana and Lisa Brooks with a reasonable amount of time to respond to my request. Ifthey fail to respond or if their response indicates a current use of the property, which is in noncompliance with the variance approval conditions I will have to discuss with David Hauser, County Attorney, if there is any other action the County can consider. L If you should have, any questions please feel free to contact me. I .f ! iSincerely, I County Auditor ?• CC Bill Kalar, Land and Resource Director ; i ■. .
