Minnesota Information I’m a former Fergus Falls resident (class of 65), I have recently retired and am planning to build a year around home and get back to my roots. Things to consider a. I would like to install a proper well. The back of the cabin is 60 feet from the septic tank so the proposed structure can not be moved back and yet achieve the correct set hack from the septic tank. b. The vertical separation from the proposed basement to the present water level is 5 ft. c. The present foundation to roof line peak height is 14 ft. the proposed foundation to roofline height would be about 17 /4 ft. d. The existing structure had two trees fall on the roof in the storm of 05 leaving many of the rafters cracked as well as the need for a chain to hold the wall together.
