Motion was made by Mark Steuart, second by Randall Mann and unanimously carried, to deny the variances as
requested for the proposed 5’ by 18’ 4” addition noting that no adequate hardship had been shown and a reasonable
use of the property exist without the proposed addition. After additional discussion and consideration motion was
rriade by Randall Mann, second by Cecil Femling and unanimously carried, to deny the variance as requested for the
proposed 6’ by 8’ utility storage shed as no adequate hardship had been shown. No action was taken onjthe third
variance request, as that was an administrative request based on information found in the applicants’ file. It was noted
ment would be permitted if it would cover more than 25% of the total lot area with impervious
surface. It was^lso not§d.that some of the proposed development would have been within the shore impact zone and
that the gra^ng of the requested variances would have only made a substandard situation more substandard.
