(7:36 p.m.) Steven and Rebecca Freije, Lots 3 and 4 Block 1 Oak Haven Subdivision, Tamarac Lake in Scambler Township, requested a variance of 2’ 7” from the 20’ maximum allowable height of a non dwelling structure for the construction of a 42’ by 60’ structure having a height of 22’ 7”. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. After discussion and consideration, Randall Mann made a motion, second by Steve Schierer and unanimously carried, to deny the variance as requested noting that no adequate hardship unique to the property had been shown that would allow for the granting of the variance as requested and noting that the applicants can obtain a reasonable use of their property without the requested variance. (7:45 p.m.) Richard and Joan Haire, part of Government Lot 2, Section 1 of Everts Township by Otter Tail Lake, requested the following: We want to make it a build able lot for a garage and dwelling.
