The property is described as Lots 113, 114, 115 and 116, Sater - Humphrey Ranch Camp, Ten Mile Lake in Tumuli Township. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration, motion was made by Randall Mann, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to approve the replacement of an existing 10’ by 60’ mobile home with a new dwelling being no closer to the ordinary high water level than the existing mobile home. Terry Lee Hoffman - Approved Terry Lee Hoffman, Vergas, MN, requested a variance of 7’ from the required maximum height of a non­ dwelling structure of 18’ for the construction of an 85’ by 100’ confinement dairy barn having a height of 25’ and being setback 260’ from the ordinary-high water level. The property is described as part of Government Lots 1 and 2 and part of the Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4, Section 5 of Dora Township by West Spirit Lake. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After - consideration, motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 7’ from the required maximum height of a non-dwelling structure of 18’ for the construction of an 85’ by 100’ confinement dairy bam having a height of 25’ ard being setback 260’ from the ordinary high water level. It was noted that the structure will be no closer to the ordinary high water level than the existing structure and the structure will be a part of an existing farm operation. James Eugene Bjork - Tabled James Eugene Bjork, Fergus Falls, MN, requested a variance of 8’ from the required maximum height of a non-dwelling structure of 18’ for the construction of a 32’ by 60’ shop having a height of 26’. The property is described as part of Sub Lots F and G of Government Lots 3 and 4, Section 30 of Aurdal Township on Hoot Lake. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. Veriin Menze, Aurdal Town Board Chairman stated earlier that the township had approved of the applicant’s request. After consideration, motion was made by Randall Mann, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to table the applicant’s request until the next scheduled meeting to allow the applicant an opportunity to consider other alternatives. Lliff D. Odegard - Approved Iliff D. Odegard, Fergus Falls, MN, requested a variance to subdivide an existing 6.25 acre parcel into two parcels of less than 5 acres. One parcel would be approximately 2.98 acres and the other parcel would be approximately 3.27 acres. The property is described as part of the East 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4, Section 21 of Fergus Falls Township. The audience was polled with Vic Petterson stating that the Fergus Falls Town Board does not oppose the variance request. After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by Cecil Femling and unanimously carried, to approve a variance to subdivide an existing 6.25 acre parcel into two parcels. One parcel would be approximately 2.98 acres and the other parcel would be approximately 3.27 acres. It was noted that each parcel does have adequate space for two approved septic systems. June 2, 1983Board of Adjustment 2 - Betty Auqhenbau^h. Denver, Colorado, tabled from the May 5th meeting, requested permission to place a privacy fence 6' high on Lot 10, Inglewood, Everts Township, r John Everts requested permission to be excused because of a conflict of interest. A clarification was presented in that the fence would start 66 feet back from the lilyti water mark, be a solid fence for 2U(J feet, then a split rail fence for 100'. After discussion, motion was made by Tom Stringer to approve, hardship being If ever there was justification in placing a privacy fence, this situation was it; it was clearly beyond a doubt the reasonable solution if the owner is to enjoy the privacy and full use of her property, with a commercial property located adjacent with a high density of use, private use being a hardship with the use and misuse of tenants including noice, beer cans and.garbage, disputed use of parking cars. Keith Johnson, Frazee, MN, tabled from the May 5th meeting, requested permission to place a garage 7' from the platted road right-of-way, on Lot 7, Clearwater Beach, Hobart Township. After listening to various interested parties and town board appro­ val, motion was made by Frank Lachowitzer, seconded by Craig Anderson and carried, to approve the variance at 7' from road right-of-way, hardship being able to enjoy the same rights and privileges as neigtibors, with hacking onto property not onto road, township permission indicated no hazzard, best use of a substandard lot. Gerald R. Schulte, Dalton, MN, approved at the Miy 'jIIi meeting, for a 19' variance with garage doors to be set at right-angles from road, on Lot 114 Sater-Humphrey Ranch Camp, Tumuli Township, re-appeared stating placement in that location would require driving over his drainfield. the motion of May 5th.
