Motion
Gregory and Kathleen Truax - Approved with condition.
Motion was made by Randall Mann, second by Frank Lachowitzer and unanimously carried, to approve completion of
the applicants’ brick paver path which leads to where the future steps down to the river will be installed. It was noted
that this is a reasonable request, which will protect the lawn area from wear by continued use when accessing the
river. Hardship is the terrain features of the applicants’ property. After additional discussion and consideration, motion
was made by Randall Mann, second by David Holmgren and carried with Cecil Femling and Mark Steuart voting no, to
approve a variance of 8’ from the required 20’ setback for the construction of a brick fire pit 12’ from the bluff with the
condition that drainage from the fire pit must be directed, by the contractor, away from the bluff and back towards the
applicant’s hpuse:. Hardship is the terrain of the applicants’ property.
