Glen and Keith Freeland - Approved
Motion was made by Randall Mann, seconded by Roberts Schwartz and unanimously carried, to approve the variance
was requested noting that each parcel has access to a public road and each parcel has room for two on-site septic
systems with the condition that a registered surveyor's drawing must be provided at the time of recording. It was
noted that the granting of the variance meets the intent of the ordinance.

The legal description for Parcel K is described as follows:
All that part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 32, Township 133, Range 42, Otter Tail Coimty,
Minnesota, which lies southerly of the southerly line of the dedicated road as dedicated in the plat of
RIDGEWOOD ESTATES, according to the recorded plat thereof; which lies southeasterly of the
southeasterly line of Lot 9, Block 1, said RIDGEWOOD ESTATES; and which lies westerly of the
following described line:
Commencing at the South Quarter comer of said Section 32; thence on an assumed bearing of
South 89 degrees 33 minutes 46 seconds East along the south line of said Section 32, a distance of
607.98 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence on a bearing of North a
distance of 271.02 feet to said southerly line of the dedicated road and there terminating.

Reasons
These lots were surveyed 15 years ago but not platted and recorded.
The road was built into the area with just the river lots platted.
Now the lots are not expandable because the road does not allow adding additional land to
equal the 5 acres.
The wetland on the Parcel L is not significant in size allowing adequate room for building a
home and septic system.
Since Parcel K will be added to the platted Lot 9, this will equal 4.53 acres and will also
provide adequate space for the home and septic system.
