Joseph A. Rumpca, Maplewood, MN, requested a variance for the construction of a new garage
that will be closer to both the lake and the road right-of-way than the existing trailer house.
The property is described as Lot 6 Block 3, Pischke and Taylor Add’n, Spitzer Lake in Leaf
Mountain Township. The audience was not polled as there was no one in attendance. After
consideration, motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Cecil Femling and unanimously
carried, to approve a 5' variance from the required 20' road right of way setback. Hardship
being a substandard lot of record.
ELROY C. AND JOANNE M. BOEN - WITHDRAWN
Elroy C, and Joanne M, Boen, Fergus Falls, MN, requested a variance to transfer a parcel of less
than 2,5 acres. The property is described as the SI /2NE1 /4NW1 /4 except tracts, Section 23,
Aurdal Township. After additional consideration the applicant indicated to the County Auditor's
Office that they wanted to withdraw their request. After consideration, motion was made by
Victor Petterson, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to grant the applicant a
partial refund of $15.00.
With no further business. Chairman Walter declared the meeting adjourned at 8.04 P.M

dwelling 3' from the north property line, Requesting a variance of 7‘. The property is
described as Lot 3 Block 3, Lida Shores, Lake Lida in Lida Township. Mr. Eugene Ouren
represented the potential buyer of this property at this hearing, A letter from Lloyd and Joan
Anderson against the granting of this variance request was read for the record. The audience
was polled with no one speaking for or against this request. After consideration, motion was
made by Victor Pet ter son, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to approve a 7‘
variance for the construction of a screened porch unto the existing structure provided that it
follows the existing house line. No lines are being changed.

alley; and an 8' variance on both side lot lines from the required 10' side lot line setback, the
property is described as Lot 55 Block 1, Crystal Beach, West McDonald Lake in Dora Township.
The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against this request. After consideration,
motion was made by Cecil Femling, seconded by Victor Petterson and carried with George Walter
voting no, to approve the variance as requested. Hardship being a substandard lot of record.

There is no access from this piece of property to a public road. The property is land locked.
Access could possibly be granted by a 33' easement to the public road. Should possibly consider
mat ing it 2,5 acres or larger. After consideration and much discussion, motion was made by
Craig Anderson, seconded by Dan Oehler and unanimously carried, to table this variance request
for further review and consideration. The applicant is to study it further and decide which way
she would like to proceed.
