Dear Mr. Lee:
ARTHUR FLADHAMMER - REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF VARIANCE
AND/OR APPROVAL OF PRELIMINARY PLAT, SECTION 17,
AURDAL TOWNSHIP
Subject:
This is to inform all interested parties that the Aurdal Township
Board of Supervisors has investigated the request made by Mr.
Fladhammer for approval to split a 4.1 acre parcel into two par
cels, one of which is the site of an existing residence,
our understanding that the second parcel will be used as the site
of a new residence to be built by Mr. Fladhammer.
Although both lots conform to the Township's zoning ordinance re
quirement of 88,000 square feet. Lot #1 does not conform to the
200 foot frontage requirement,
quested a variance from the Township which was approved by the
Aurdal Board of Supervisors on September 12, 1985.
noted that several of Mr. Fladhammer's neighbors gave written or
verbal support of his request.
We urge the Otter Tail County Board of Adjustment to give
favorable consideration to the request for variance,
urge the Otter Tail County Planning Commission to approve the
preliminary plat called "Fladhammer's Addition."
It would be appreciated if you would bring this letter to the at
tention of each ®f the groups who will be acting on this matter.
