Lysaker, Pelican Rapids, MN, requested a variance to subdivide a 30’ by 140’ parcel from an existing 1.41 acre tract for conveyance to Lon and Ronna Laager the property owners of the adjacent property. If approved the 30’ by 140’ parcel would be permanently attached to the property owned by Lon and Ronna Laager. After consideration, motion was made by Cecil Femling, seconded by Robert Schwartz to approve a location for a structure being no closer than 50’ to any part of the ordinary high water level. After additional discussion this motion was withdrawn and a motion was made by Randall Mann, seconded by John Everts and unanimously carried to table the applicant’s request for additionai measurement information. Per agreement with the applicant the variance hearing was tabled until the December 5, 1996, meeting. 4Jorgenson - Approved Brian Jorgenson, Fergus Falls, MN, requested a variance to subdivide a 3.6 acre parcel from an existing 83.08 acre tract. The property is described as part of Government Lots 6 and 7, Section 9 of Aurdal Township by Mud Lake. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. Clem Hendrickson, Surveyor, appeared along with the applicant at the public hearing. Anna Marie Millen - Approved Anna Marie Millen, Omaha, NE, requested a variance to subdivide an existing metes and bounds parcel into three metes and bounds parcels of less than 5 acres and a variance to provide access to these tracts from an existing township road on the east over an easement rather than by a dedicated public road. It should be noted that each tract would have 100’ of water frontage and would be approximately 750’ deep. The property is described as part of Government Lot 1, Section 2 of Perham Township by Little Pine Lake. The applicant was represented at the public hearing by Terry Karkela, Attorney, and by Clem Hendrickson, Surveyor. On the date of my inspection, October 16,1996, there was a continuous water surface across the bulrush vegetation at this site.
