Methods for Containment and Cleaning Up
Household Setting Small spills and leaks may be cleaned up and disposed of in normal household trash.
Industrial Setting
Before attempting clean up, refer to hazard data given. Pick up large pieces and place in a suitable
container. Do not flush to sewer or allow to enter waterways. Dispose in accordance with all applicable
local, state, and federal regulations.
Industrial Setting Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (refer to Section 8).
Environmental Precautions Avoid entry into lakes, streams, ponds or public waterways.
Eye Contact
Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if
present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing. Call a doctor or poison control center for
treatment advice.

Skin Contact Rinse thoroughly with water if skin contact occurs. Call a physician if irritation develops or persists.
