HomeMy WebLinkAboutBoard of Commissioners - Minutes - 06/23/1969MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Pursuant to adjournment, the Board of County Commissioners of Otter Tail County Minnesota met June 23rd, 1969 at 19;00 o'clock A.M., Otto Haase being absent. The following members of the County Planning and Zoning Commission were in attendance: Frank Alstadt, Walter Sundberg, Clarence W. Peterson, Virginia Adams, Nels Hanson and Giles Harlow. Upon motion by John Snowberg, seconded by Bennie Johnson and unani- mously carried, the following amendment to the Sub Division Controls Ordinance, Otter Tail County, Minnesota, enacted April 9, 1969 was adopted: • AN ORDINANC~ AMENDING THE SUBDIVISION CONTROLS ORDINANCE, OTTER TAIL COUNTY, MINNESOTA, ENACTED APRIL 9, 1969 THE COUNTY BOARD OF OTTER TAIL COUNTY ORDAINS: Section 1. Paragraph IX of the Subdivision Controls Ordinance, Otter Tail County, Minn~sota enacted by the County Board of Otter Tail County, Minnesota, on April 9, 1969 is hereby amended to read: , IX. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in full force and .effect -!anuary 1, 1970. Board of County Commissioners Otter Tail Coun_ty Minnesota Chairman Attest:· 189 Upon motion made by Bennie Johnson, seconded by John Snowberg and un- animously carried, the following ordinance requiring platting of certain land subdivisions was adopted: 190 AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING PLATTING OF C~RTAIN LAND SUBDIVISIONS -THE COUNTY BOARD OF OTTER TAIL COUNTY ORDAINS: • Subclivision 1. No subdivisions of any real property of 2½ acres or less shall be .made except by a plat duly approved by the ·county board and properly recorded in the office of the register of· deeds of Otter Tail County, Minnesota. Subdivision 2. No deed shall be recorded or certified for· recording by the county auditor, treasurer or register of deeds unless it meets the requirements of Subdivision 1 above. Subdivision 3. In any case in which compliance with the fore- going restrictions will create an unnecessary hardship and failure to comply will not interfere with the orderly development of Otter Tail County, the county board may waive such compliance by adoption of a resolution to that effect and the conveyance may then be certified and filed for record. Attest: Clerk Board of County Commissioners Otter Tail County Minnesota Chairman 191 Motion was made by Andy Leitch, seconded by Bennie Johnson and carried to approve the plat of George's East Lost Lake Beach, subject to approval of road and the attorney's opi~ion as to title, and County Surveyor's approval. Motion was made by Andy Leitch, seconded by John Snowberg·and carried to approve the preliminary plat of Sunnyside Fourth Addition. Motion was made by Bennie Johnson, seconded by Andy Leitch and carried to approve the plat of the First Add'n to Wall's River Lots, subject to approval of roads and attorney's opinion as to title, and County Surveyor's approval. Motion by Bennie Johnson, seconded by John Snowberg and carried was made approving the plat (preliminary) of North Shore Park, subject to attorney's opinion as to title and approval of road, and County Surveyor's approval. Upon motion made by Bennie Johnson, seconded by John Snowberg and unan- imously carried, the following was approved: Form No. 30741 MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS EMERGENCY RELIEF FORM NO. 1 Be it resolved that the Commissioner of Highways be and he hereby is authorized and requested to take such steps and perform such acts on behalf of the County of Otter Tai 1 as may be necessary ----------- to have the construction and improvement of the portions of highways here- inafter described properly approved by the Commissioner of Public Roads as Emergency Relief projects eligible for the expenditure of Federal Funds thereon and eligible for present construction and the letting of contracts therefor. Anderson Gerald Schultz Grand View Heights Pine Lake Township Chalet Chanticleer Restaurant Ottertail Township Ten Mile Lake Resort Tumuli Township Upon motion the meeting then adjourned.
