OF THE
BOARD OF EQUALIZATION
OTTER TAIL COUNTY MINNESOTA
FOR THE YEAR 1980
I
Pursuant to Statute, the Otter Tail County Board of Equalization
met at 9:30 a.m., Monday, July 7, 1980, with Sydney Nelson, Andy Leitch, Bert
Hovland, Hub Nordgren, John Snowberg and Sylvia Bergerud being present.
The oath of office was administered by County Court Judge Elliot
Boe. John Snowberg served as Chairman and Sylvia Bergerud served as .clerk.
The Board proceeded to examine, together with E. Eugene DAvenport,
County Assessor, the assessments made for the year 1980.
The following persons either appeared before the Board and were
heard, or submitted letters that were read before the Board:

Motion was made by Bert Hovland, seconded by Andy Leitch and
carried, to notify the Schmitz Garage of Perham that their assessment would·be
considered at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 18th.
The Board adjourned from time to time and the following determinations
were made:
Motion was made by Sydney Nelson, seconded by Andy Leitch and car-
ried, to make minor.adjustments on the Cal Mielke-property in-Richville and Rush
Lake.
Motion was made by Sydney Nelson, seconded by Andy Leitch and car-
ried, to reduce the market value of the Rusche.property in Perham Township by
$1,200.00.
Motion was made by Hub Nopdgren, seconded by Andy Leitch and car-
ried, to accept the balance of assessments as determined by the County Assessor.
Upon motion made by Sydney Nelson, seconded by Hub Nordgren and
carried, the meeting was adjourned at 12:00 noon on July_18, 1980.
