OF THE
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OTTER TAIL COUNTY MINNESOTA
Pursuant to notice, the Board of County Commissioners
of OtterTail County Minnesota met at 1O:OO·a.m., Wednesday, October 31, 1979,
with all members present.
Representatives of the Department of Natural Resources appeared
relative to the request for reimbursement of funds in the amount of $27,410.99
on the Otter Tail Snowmobile Trail Grants-In-Aid Program. Also in attendance
and speaking were Representative Paul Aasness, former members of the disbanded
trail association, deputy sheriff Dick Tamke and county attorney Mike Kirk.
After listening to the various interested parties the
meeting was adjourned with no action taken.

Motion was made by Sydney Nelson, seconded by Andy Leitch and
carried, to grant assistance inthe amount of $384.61 to Homestead Township for

Motion was made by Andy Leitch, seconded by John Snowberg and
carried, to participate in Computer Concepts highway department financial pro-
gram.
Motion was made by Andy Leitch, seconded by Bert Hovland and car-
ried, to approve the following applications for homestead classification and/or
reduction of ass·essed valuation:
David Nelson Folden Township Mobile home assessed to wrong person
Francis Fugere Lida Township Forgiveness of penalty ..
E. W. Raddahl Battle Lake Cancel tax, duplicate assessment
Gregory & Maurice Ness Hobart Township .Cancel• 1978 tax, duplicate
Motion was made by Andy Leitch:, seconded by John Snowberg and carried,
to approve an application of Erwin H. Post for permit to allow consumption and dis-
play of intoxicating liquor at the Park Way Inn~ Leaf· Mountain Township.
Motion was made by Andy Leitch, seconded by Bert Hovland and carried,
to approve an application of Mary J. Hartman for license to sellnon-intoxicating
malt liquor at Minneha Beach, Girard Township.
Motion was made by Andy Leitch, seconded by Bert Hovland and carried,
· authorizing the County Auditor.to advertise for the position of courthouse custodian.
Motion was made by Andy Leitch, seconded by John Snowberg and carried,
authorizing the County Auditor to make a permanent transfer of $250,000 of Federal
Revenue Sharing Funds into the Road & Bridge ·Fund.
There being no further business, the Chairman declared the meeting
adjourned until 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 1979.
