In response to a'request by the City Attorney of Bluffton, motion · was made by Hub Nordgren, .seconded by John Snowberg and unanimously carried, to offer no objection to the City of Bluffton grant application to the Farmers Home Administration to enable said city to construct and maintain a sewage system, including a sewage treatment plant. Motion was made by Hub Nordgren, seconded by Sydney Nelson and unanimously carried, to approve a name change of ~lie;'F:irst Addition to Sunset Beach, on Jewett Lake, said plat having been approved on October 12," 1977, to Chets Addi- tion to Sunset Beach. Upon motion made by Hub Nordgren., seconded by John Snowberg and unanimously carried, the ·following resolutions pertaining to roadside mowing were approved: RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Otter Tail County Minnesota, that WHEREAS on April 5 ~ 1977, the b:i.d fo.r mowing Area B, Otter Tail County, was awarded-to Archie W~lin, Clitherall, Minnesota in the amount of $8,095.86, · and WHEREAS the aboveicontract has now been completed to·the satis~ , ... t faction of the County Board at a total cost of $8,'055.92, a decrease of $39.94 due to deduction of 3.02 miles of shoulder cut, on C.R. #146 and 1.85 miles of· shoulder cut on C.R. #148 because of construction work, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, the County Auditor is authorized and directed to issue a warrant in the amount of $805.59 payable to Archie Wahlin, Clitherall, Minnesota as final payment. for this work. RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Otter Tail County Minnesota, that WHEREAS on April 5, 1977, the bid for mowing Area F, Otter Tail County, was awarded to Clyde Ellingson, Deer Creek, Minnesota, in the amount of $6,916.00, and WHEREAS the above contract has now been completed to the satis- faction of the County Board at a total cost of $6,902.35, a decrease of $13.65 due to deduction of 2.10 miles of shoulder cut because of construction work, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, the County Auditor is authorized and directed to issue a warrant in the amount of $306.18 payable to Clyde Ellingson, Deer Creek, Minnesota as final payment for this work. ATTEST: ~~a)·@ ~4-V½i d ti · Clerk I I RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Otter Tail County Minnesota, that WHEREAS on April 5, 1977, the bid for mowing Area I, Otter Tail County, was awarded to Kenneth Anderson and Dave Daker, Henning, Minnesota in the amount of $7,550.25, and WHEREAS the above contract has now been completed to the satis- faction of the County Board at a total cost of $6,950.86, a decrease of $599.39, due to deduction of 3.01 miles ditch cutting on C.R. #119 due,to construction work, 5.87 miles of ditch cutting on #82 uncompleted and $277.40 for liquidated damages and incomplete work, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED the County Auditor is authorized and directed to issue a warrant in the amount of $219.10 payable to Kenneth Anderson and Dave Daker, Henning, Minnesota as final payment for this work. Smith, Jack Amor Compton 89.52 127.42 12.78 18.09 J 102.30 145.51 Collect Collect THE COUNTY BOARD OF OTTER TAIL COUNTY MINNESOTA ~Clerk Upon motion made by Bert Hovland, seconded by Sydney Nelson and unanimously carried, the following resolution was adopted: RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the County of Otter Tail has applied to the Coinmissioner of Transportation for a grant in the amount of $:76,112.00 from. the Minnesota State Transportation Fund for the construction of Dunn Township concrete arch culverts, Bridge No. 91555 on the Pelican River, and WHEREAS, the application for the grant has been re- viewed by the West Central Regional Development Commission. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the County·of Otter Tail does hereby affirm that any cost of the bridge in excess of the $86,150.00 grant will be appropriated from funds available to Otter Tail County.· Adopted this 22nd day of November, 1977. AMC automobiles for use by the County Assessor's office, and WHEREAS the above automobiles have now been delivered to the satis- faction of the County Boar4, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, the County Auditor is authorized and directed to issue a warrant in the amount of $9,406.00 to Worner's Auto Sales, Fergus Falls, Minnesota in full payment thereof.
