P.M.J·Tuesday, JulY:>19, 1977, all members present. Motion.was.made by Bert Hovlan4,,seconded by-SydneyNelson:and ' '.. i.. ~ -< unanimously carried, to· transfer from the Federal Revenue Sharing Fund,. the sum of .. $6,000, to the County ~ursing Home Fund, for the purchase of a van and ,lift. Motion was made by John Snciwberg, seconded by Bert Hovlandand carried, to approve payment of $259.44 to Spike Furman, consultant, representing Otter Tail County for mediation service in connection with the sheriff's department. The Board, having previously advertised for bids to be received for county employees group health insurance, proceeded to open bids which were foun4 to be as follows: Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Minn'esota. ·· Time Insurance Company, Milwaukee, Wisc. ' Motion was made by Ber~ Hovland, seconded by Sydney Nelson and unani- mously carried, to consider bids on the 9th of August at 1:00 P.M •• The Board, having previously advertis~d for bids to be received for the NW¼ SW¼, except E 200'; SW¼ NW¼; exc.·the E 200' and except a triangular tract in th,e SW¼ NW¼, lying west of County· Highway No. 111, in Section 25; and Sub lots 1, 2 and 3 of Subdivision A of the NE¼ SE¼ of Section 26, all in Township 133 -Range 43, proceeded to open ~ids, which were found. to be as follows: Donald A. Beltrand, Fergus Falls, Minnesota $51,190.00 Motion was made by John Snowberg, seconded by Sydney Nelson and unani- mously carried, to offer to Mr. Beltrand, the only bidder, for a minimum price-of $59,000 to recover the county's cost in the property, to be considered August 9th a~,\ 10:30 A.M. The Board, having previously advertised for bids to be received for the NW¼ NE¼ of.Section 32 -·134 -40, except tra~ts and highway easement, pro- ceeded to open bids which were found to be as. follows: Jerry Bratten, Battle Lake, Minnesota Gregory C. Peterson $3,1~0.00 10.00 AFter consideration, motion was made.by Bert Hovland, seconded by Hub Nordgren and unanimously carried, to reJect .all bids. Motion was made by John Snowbetg, seconded by Sydney Nelson and unanimously carried, to readvertise the NW¼ NE¼ of Section 32 -134 -40, ex. tr. and highway easement, calling for a mini~um bid of $12,000, bids to be considered at 2:00 P.M., /'.1).ies_day, ,,-September 6th, 1977. Nelson, Inc., Lake Park, Minnesota· 128,194.29 Donald Conroy Construction Co., Dumont, Minnesota l30~152.69 Ackling Const., Co., Frazee, Minnesota 131~012.30 Sellin Bros., Inc., Hawley, Minnesota 143,919.15 Barry Construction Co., Lake Wilson, Minnesota 160,213.69 •_ After consideration, motion was made by Andy Leitch, seconded by• John Snowberg and carried, to accept the bid of Lincoln Construction Company, Lynd, Minnesota in the amount of $105,485.95, it being the. lowest bid, Motion was made by Andy Leitch, seconded by Hub Nordgren and carried, to take an option on the purchase of parcels known as "A" and/or "B" from Oscar Urevig, located in the NW¼SW¼ of Section,20"~ 133 -42, as a possible.site for the new highway garage and office.building. Motion was made by John Snowberg, seconded by Hub Nordgren and carried, to approve the increase in rent from $60.00 per month to $100.00 per month for space the East Otter Tail County Agent rents in the Perham City Hall. Motion was made by Bert Hovland, seconded by John Snowberg and carried, to approve the: application of John Jorde. for reduction of assessed valuation on Lots 3, 4 and 5, Oak Ridge Beach 1, Amor Township, which were over- valued. Motion was made by John Snowberg, seconded by Sydney Nelson:and. carried, to approve a refund of penalty and· interest on a delinquent tax paid on Plate #190M, Lida Township, involving a transfer of property on which the taxes were certified as to having been paid and were not. Upon motion ~ade by Hub Nordgren, seconded by John Snowberg and unanimously carried, the Cowity Auditor was authorized to advertise for bids to be received for the sale of five acres of county owned property, locate~ in Section 30 of Aurdal Township, bids to be r.eceived until 2:15 P.M., Tuesday, September 6, 1977, with a minimwn bid accepted of $4,000.00.
