BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

Pursuant to adjournment, the BQIX'd of·County ~onnnissioners of Otter
. .
Tail County Minnesota met_ at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 23, 1974, all members present.
A hearing was ·held relative to the petition calling for the establish-
ment of aJ~est :Lake Lizzie Sewer District. After listening to the various interested

parties, motion was made by Richard Dillon, seconded by Andy Leitch and tmanimously
carried, to table the decision and adj oum --tlte hearing tmtH 9: 30 A.M., August 6th,
1974.
Motion was made by Geo_rge Walter, seconded by Ritjlard Dillon. and'
unanimously carried,to.approve the application of George Zanski for a special use
permit at White Haven Resort in Dead Lake Township, to cut bank along 100' of lake-
shore about 8' in depth for boat landing_at resort.
Motion was made by Andy Leitch, _seconded by Richard Dillon and
carried, authorizing the county .auditor to make :a temporary transf~r of $10,000
from the Cotmty. Rev~nue f'.und to the.Cotmty Ditch Ftmd.
Motion was made by Andy Leitch, seconded by John Snow b"erg and tmani-
_mously car~ied granting Everts Township. a 40% appropriation of the cost of overlay ·
on a parcel of turriback highway ·close to Rolfson' s Resort.
Motion was made by Hub Nordgren,·seconded by Richard Dillon and
unanimously carried, to approve the application of Paul C. Anderson for permit to
allow the consumption and display of intoxicating liquor at Perry's Place in Dora
Township.

Upon motion made by Richard Dillon, seconded by Andy Leitch and
unanimously carried, the following resolution was adopted:·
RESOLVED by the Board of Co\Dlty Commissioners of Otter Tail
County Minnesota, that

WHEREAS the County Board, on June 12, 1973, accepted the bid
of Lampert Quality Builders of Fergus Falls, Minnesota, for construction of
a metal garage building at the Otter Tail County Nursing Home in the amount of
$10,875.00, and
WHEREAS said construction has now been completed to the satisfaction
of the County Board at a total cost of $10,875.00,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the County Auditor
is authorized and directed to issue a warrant in the amount of $157 .so to

Lampert Quality Builders, Fergus F~lls, Minnesota as final payment.
Dated at Fergus Falls, Minnesota this 23rd day of July, 1974.

unanimously carried, the ·following resolution was adopted:
RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Otter Tail County
Minnesota; that
WHEREAS this board, on the 10th day of April, 1973, accepted the
bid of Douglas Ackling, Frazee, Minnesota: in the amount of-$78,610.00 for grading
and aggreagate surfacing on CSAH #58-, and
WHEREAS said contract ·has now been completed to the satisfaction
of the County· Board at a total cost of $80,804.40 ,· an increase of $2,194.40 due
to additional sodding,

NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT.HEREBY RESOLVED, the County.Auditor is
authorized and directed to issue a warrant in the· amount of $11,078.27 to .
Douglas Ackling, Frazee, Minnesota and United.States Fidelity.and Guaranty

Tail County to operate the Title II· Program of the Comprellensive Employment a~d
Training Act of 1974 between Rural Min,nesota -CEP • _ Inc •• ai;id -the County Board of
Otter Tail County.
Upon motion made by Andy Leitch, seconded by John Snowberg and
unanimously carried, the meeting was a~jpurned until 9: 30 A.M •• Tuesday. August
