MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED MEETING
OF THE
. BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OTTER TAIL COUNTY MINNESOTA
Pursuant to adjournment, the Board of County Commissioners of Otter
Tail County Minnesota met at 1: 30 P. M., June 25th, 1974, al 1 members b~ing present.
Motion was made by Hub Nordgren,· seconded by John Snowberg and unani-
mously carried , to authorize payment of $14,356.00 on a joint county-Perham Town-
ship road project, township to repay $7,178.00 of said payment, $3,589.00 in the
year 1975 and $3,589.00 in 1976.
Upon motion made by Hub Nordgren, seconded by John Snowberg and
carried, Charles Davis of Parkers Prairie was appointed to the Otter Tail County
.Planning Advisory Cormnission to fi 11 the unexpired term of George Revering.
Upon motion made by Richard Dillon, seconded by Andy Leitch and
unanimously carried, the plat of Long View Acres was approved subject to the fol-
lowing conditions: "Res. Lot A" be. designated as an access Tot to the fol lowing
ba,ck lots, Lots IA and Lots 3 through 14 .. Also .sa.id·res. Lot A will not be for
sale and will not be built upon and the plat and deeds to each· back lot involved
shall so state these conditions.
Motion was made by George Walter, seconded by Hub Nordgren and unani-
mously carried; granting permission to John Squire to convey one 100' wide lot, by
metes and bounds description, in Government Lot 3, Section 13 -135 -39, said lot
being called Lot 4 and W 25' of lot called 5 of 1964 survey.
Commissioner Andy Leitch introduced the -----------------
following resolution and moved for its adoption:
RESOLVED by the Board of ··county Commissioners of Otter Tail
County Minnesota, that
WHEREAS the Board of County Commissioners of Otter Tail County
Minnesota has been presented with a petition requesting that the size of motors
used on watercraft on Clear Lake, Tumul_i Township, Sections 23-24-25_ and 26, be
limited to a maximum of 10 horsepower except on pontoon boats, in order that said
lake might be preserved for its recreational, fishing, scenic and wildlife values,-
and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 361. 26 provides that the Commissioner
of Natural Resources may, if he determines it to be in the public interest, establish
regulations relating to the use of watercraft on the waters of this state,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
in and for the County of Otter Tail, State of Minnesota, that the Commissioner of
Natural Resources be and he hereby is respectfully requested to take such steps
as are required by statute to establish regulations relating to the limitation of
horsepower of motors on watercraft_ operating on Clear Lake, Tumuli Township,
Sections 23-24-25 and 26, in the County of Otter Tai 1.
Motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution 1vas duly seconded
by Commissiner Hub Nordgren -------'-----------and upon a vote being taken the:ron,

George Walter, Richard Dillon, Andy Leitch, Hub Nordgren and John Sno1vberg
and the following voted against the same:
None
Whereupon said resolution ,ms declared duly passed and adopted
this 25th day of June, 1974.

to sell non-intoxicating malt liquor at The Stone Hearth in Hobart Township.
Upon motion made by Richard Dillon. seconded by George Walter and
. unanimously carried, the following applications for permit to allow consumption and
display of intoxicating malt liquor were approved:
