OF THE
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OTTER TAIL COUNTY rcUNNESOTA
Pursuant to adjournment, the Beard of County Ccmmissioners·of
Otter Tail County Minnesota met at 9: 30 A.M., January 21st, 1974, George Walter,
Pi.chard Dillen, Andy Leitch and llub 1':or<lgren present, John Sncwberg abaent.
Motion was made by Andy.Leitch, seconded by Hub Nordgren and unani-
mously carried, authorizing the Veterans Service officer to attend the National
Service Officer's school in March.
Motion was made by ·Andy Leitch, seconded by Richard Dillon and
unanimously carried, toapprove the Human Services Feasibility Agreement, as a
jcint Otter Tail -Wilkin County agreement.
Motion was made by Richard Dillon, seconded by Andy Leitch and
unanimously carried, to approve the plat cf "2nd Add'n to Bayview Heights".
Motion was made by Richard Dillon, seconded by Hub Nordgren and
unanimously carried, to app_rove the pl at of "Walleye· Beach", a \·d th the under-·
s tanding that Res. Lot A and Res. Lot B are not building lots by thcmscl ves.
Upon motion made by Hub Nordgren, seconded by Richard Dillon and
unanimously carried, the following abatements were approved:

Norris & Dorothy Krog
City of Fergus Falls
City of Fergus Falls
Aurdal Township
Should be tax exempt
Homestead classification

. Motion was made by Andy Leitch, seconded by Richard Dillon and
unanimously carried, that a county commissioner be availa,ble part of each day
in the court house, this to be made apart of the personnel policy recommended.

Upon motion made by Andy Leitch, seconded by George Walter and
unanimously carried, the following resolution·was adopted:
RESOLVED by the Board of _County C0mmissioners of Otter Tail County
Minnesota, that
WHEREAS this Board. has: carefu.lly reviewed· the ,recommendatio11s of
. the Personnel Committee for the setting of 1974 salaries,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it herebyresolvedai1d.directed, that the
salaries and·wages for the various elected and appointed coun-~y officials be set
as follows:

Motion was made by Hub Nor_dgren, seconded by Richard Dillon. and
unanimously carried, authorizing Andy Leitch arid Roland \'linterfeldt to attend,
as delegates from Otter Tail County,_ the Mini-Session·of the Association cf
Minn.esota Counties.
Motion was made by Hub Nordgren, seconded by Andy Leitch and unani-
mously carried, to approve the offer of $150. 00 of right-of-way easement on
Parcl 360/21A -S.P. 5606(10~2)903.
Motion was made by Hub Nor_dgren, seconded. by Richard Dillon and
unanimously carried, to approve the concept of the OFF-CON project and recommend
the hiring of Mike Vosburgh as director for the remainder of this year's funding
through July 31, 1974.
Motion was made by George Walter, seconded by Richard Dillon and
unanimously carried, to approve the application of Paul E. Anderson, for license
to hold public dances at Perry's Place, Dora Township.
Motion was made by Hub Nor_dgren, seconded by Richard Dillon and
carried, to approve the G.,.2 change order for the Highway Equipment gar_age and
New York Mills.
Motion was made by ftJ1dy Leitch, seconded by Richard Dillon and
unar:iimously carried, to double the limits of liability from 50,000 and 300,000

to 300,000 and 300,000, a bread coverage exten·sion endorsement for all employees
to be added to the comprehensive general liability with Western Casualty and Surety
Company, effective imniediately.
Upon motion made by Richard Dillon, seconded by Hub Nordgren and
carried, the meeting_ adjourned until 9:30 A.M., February 12th, 1974.
