OF THE
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OTTER TAIL COUNTY MINNESOTA.
Pursuant to adjournment, the Board of County Commissioners of Otter
Tail County Minnesota met at 1:00 P.M., Friday, April 6th, 1973, all members present.
Motion was made by Hub Nordgren, seconded by Richard Dillon and carried,
authorizing the department heads to pi-ocur proposals from at least three office furni-
ture companies and present their recommendations to the County Board on the 19th of
April.
Motion was made by George Walter, seconded by John Snowbe_rg and unani-
mously carried, to accept furniture bid proposals until 10:00 A.M., April 11th.
Upon motion·made by Hub Nordgren, seconded by Richard Dillon and
unanimously carried, the following applications for license to sell non-intoxicating
malt liquor were approved:
David A. Trana
Archie Olson
Alvin H. Krause\
Dave & Louise's Resort
Archie's Service
Al's Standard Service
Leaf Lake Township
Inman Township
Inman Township
Th~ subject of County Engineer appointment was brought up for con-
sideration. After discussion, motion was made by George Walter, seconded by Richard
Dillon and unanimously carried, to appoint Dennis Berend as Otter Tail County Highway
Engineer for a one year period beginning May 1, 1973,.at $18,000.00 per year.
Motion was made by Hub_Nordgren, seconded by George Walter and unani-
mously carried, to appoint Norman Boehne to the E.D.A. Board, to fill the vacancy
created by the death of Ira Iverson.
Motion was made by Andy Leitch, seconded by Richard Dillon and
unanimously carried, to·have the Highway Departrnent_prepare specifications and
call for bids for the repair of th'e Phelps Mill Darn.
Upon motion made by Richard Dillon, seconded by George Walter and
carried,_the meeting adjourned.
