Upon motion made by Hub Nordgren, seconded by Geo_rge Walter and unanimously carried, the minutes of the February board meeting were approved. Motion was made by John Snowberg, seconded by Hub Nor_dgren and unanimously carried, to authorize Rueben Swenson to make arrangements to eliminate the refuse grounds on the nursing home property. (SEAL) j i Upon motion made by George Walter, seconded by John Snowbe_rg and unanimously carried, the following resolutionwas adopted: RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Otter Tail County Minnesota, that WHEREAS, the Minnesota Highway System, which includes counties and municipalities, has been the backbone of.the economy of the state, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissione~s of Otter Tail County is in favor of a 1¢ increase in the gas tax, if it is placed into the Highway Users Fund and not spent for other modes of transportation, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners is in favor of raising the_ gas tax 1¢ per gallon.
