OF TIIE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OTTER TAIL COUNTY MINNESOTA Pursuant to adjournment, the Board of County Commissioners of Otter Tail Cowity Minnesota met at 9:30 A.M.~ September 12th, 1972, all members present. Motion was made by Andy Leitch, seconded by George Walter and unani- mously carried, to approve the plat.of "Swan View Acres.". -' I ' Motion was made by John Snowberg, seconded by Richard-Dillon and unanimously carried, to approve the sewage disposal installer's license for Roder- ick McKeag. Motion was made by Andy Leitch, seconded by George Walter and unani- mously carried, to approve the special use permit of Blase Bieniek to construct and operate a 50 site recreational travel trailer campground on·existing campground site in Section 3 of Tordenskjold Township, approval subject to all future regulations. Upon·motion made by George Walter, seconded by Richard Dillon and wianimous ly carried, approval was granted for the following special use pernii ts: Francis J. Butler -Fill pothole in Summer Haven Beach, Scambler Township John A. Swanser -Fill and level 2,000 feet shoreland on Big Pine Lake in Section 4 of Pine Lake Township Glen Mesker -Expand existing resort in Section 31 of Edna Township Geo. C. Bergloff -Fill four lots on Provan Beach, .Section 9, Dunn Township Gordon H. Heller -Fill three lots on Provan Beach, Section 9, DWln Township Jack Gross -Construct storage shed, Section 23, Elizabeth Township Mo.tion was made by Andy Leitch, seconded by Richard Dillon and unanimously carried, to table action on a special use permit for Willie A. Anderson witil the October board meeting when arrangements can be made with all persons in- volved to meet and discuss problems involved. i· "}'lf~ ~ Al./-!~ T The Board, having previously advertised for bids to be received for the sale of a depleted gravel pit in Girard Township, proceeded to open bids which were found to be as fol lows: Michael W. Ranwn, Henning, Minn. Mr. and Mrs. DarolButcher, Henning, Minn. $100.00 75.00 Because the bids were accompanied by personal checks rather than the certified checks requested in the ad for.bids, motion was made by Hubert Nord- gren, seconded by George Walter and unanimously carried, to reject all bids. Thereupon, motion was made by Hubert Nordgren; seconded by George.c.Walter and unani- mously carried, to re-advertise for bids to be received until 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 10th, with the right given to bidders submittiog sealed bids with certi- fied checks to raise bids orally at the time of opening. The Board, having previously advertised for bids to be received for culvert ends, headwall, granular borrow and rip-rap, S.A.P. 56-624-05, pro- ceeded to open bids which were found to be as follows: Korby Contracti.ng Co. Fergus Falls, Minnesota $32,650.00 Upon motion made by Richard Dillon, seconded by Andy Leitch and unanimously carried, the bid of Korby Construction, Fergus Falls, Minnesota, in the amount of $32,650.00 was accepted. Motion was made by Andy Leitch, seconded by John Snowberg and unani- mously carried, -to grant extension of time to November 15th to Bain Bros. and Don Dahlman for completion of grading project S.A.P. 56-648-03, provided .the contractor proceeds with work this season. Motion was made by Richard Dillon, seconded by John Snowberg and unanimously carried, to approve the utility permit for Lake Region Co-op Electrical Association to bury cable in Section 29, Aurdal Township. I WEDNESDAY'S SESSION Pursuant to adjournment, the Board of County Commissioners of Otter Tail County Minnesota met at 9:30 A.M., Wednesday, September 13th, all members present. Motion was made by John Snowberg, seconded by Richard Dillon and unanimously carried, to authorize Lake Region.Hospital, in cooperation with the sheriff's department to proceed with preliminary plans relative to pre- paring an _agreement suitable to the County for a communications system to be fully funded, 50% by the State and the balance by the hospital. Upon motion made by Geo_rge Walter, seconded by Richard Dillon and unanimously carried, the county auditor was authorized to advertise for bids to be received until 9:45 A.M., Wednesday, October 11th, for two 1973 police cars to be delivered in 1973, for use by the sheriff's department. Motion·was made by George Walter, seconded by Andy Leitch and unanimously carried, to allow Mrs. Frank Adamzyk permission to divide 370' tract on Paul Lake in Section·15.;.136-40, into two_ lots· of 135' & 235' on lake. Motion was made by Richard Dillon, seconded by George Walter and unanimously. carried, to approve the application of Donald Van Gerpen for beer license at Van's Grocery Store in Friberg Township. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the County of Otter Tail act as Grantee for the OFF-CON project and administer funds in behalf of Otter Tail County Attorney and Seventh Judicial District Public Defender's Office for the period from November 1, 1972 to June 30, 1973 Be it resolved that Harlan L.
