HomeMy WebLinkAboutBoard of Commissioners - Minutes - 12/08/1970MINUTES OF nIE ADJOURNED MEETING OF TifE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OTIER TAIL COUNTY MINNESOTA Pursuant to adjournment, the Board of County Commissioners of Otter Tail County Minnesota met Tuesday, December 8th, 1970, at 10:00 A.M., all members present. Motion was made by James Bucholz, seconded by John Snowberg and unan- imously carried to instruct the County Surveyor·to·prepare Half Section survey plats of the Rush Lake area. Motion was made by John Snowberg, seconded by Andy Leitch and unani- mously carried to have the Register of Deeds keep a supply of Half Section survey plats on file to be available at $2.00 per copy. Motion was made by Andy Leitch, seconded by John Snowberg and unani- mously carried to increase the rates for snow plowing and grading by the County for the various townships, from $9.00 to $11.00 for snow plowing and from $7.50 to $8.50 for grading; and raise the rate for private driveways from $5 .00 to $6·JOO for thirty minutes, effective January 1st, 1971. Motion was made by Andy Leitch, seconded by James Bucholz and unani- mously carried, to authorize the County Auditor to advertise for bids for printing, publishing, delinquent tax notices, board minutes, legal notices and the annual financial statement, bids to be received until 2: 00 P .M. o'clock, January 5th, 1971." , ' . ·, 360 I j RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED, that pursuant to statutory authority the County Engineer for and on behalf of the County of Otter Tail is hereby authorized to request and obtain from the Minnesota Depart- ment of Highways needed engineering and technical services during the year 1971, for which payment will be made by the County upon· receipt of verified claims from the Commissioner of Highways.
