BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OTTER TAIL COUNTY MINNESOTA

Pursuant to adjournment, the Board of County Commission.ers of Otter
Tail County Minnesota, met at 10:00 A.M. o'clock, November 9th, 1970, all members
being present.
The Board having previously advertised for bids to be received for
two cars to be used by the Sheriff's Department, proceeded to open bids which were
found to be as follows:

After discussion, motion was made by John Snowberg, seconded by Andy
,leitch and unanimously carried, to accept the bid of Fergus Dodge for two Dodge
Polaris cars in the amount of $3,417.27, less $25.00 for each car, it being the
lowest bid.
Don Mollerud from Edling Electric appeared before the Board and ex-
plained the necessity of a panel in the Sheriff's quarters while the rest of the
Court House is being rewired. The Board agreed to rep-lace the panel and also in-
stall mercury vapor lights in alley-way between the Court House and Jail.
Kenneth Clambey & Frank Roberts, County Weed Inspectors, appeared
before the Board and presented their reports. Motion was made by James Bucholz,
seconded by Otto Haase and unanimously carried, to re-appoint Clambey and Roberts
as County Weed Inspecotrs. Motion was made by Otto Haase, seconded by James
Bucholz and unanimously carried authorizing the two weed inspectors to go to
school for weed inspectors.
Motion was made by aames Bucholz, seconded by John Snowberg and unan-
imously carried, to contact County Attorney for an opinion on tile drain across the
Richard Saurer property in Sections 24 and 25 of Elizaveth Township.

FEDERAL AID SECONDARY FORM NO. 11
Be it resolved that the Commissioner of Highways be and he hereby is authorized and
requested to take such steps and perform such acts on behalf of the County of··· Otter
Tail as may be necessary to have the construction and improvement of the roads herein-
after described properly approved by the Federal Highway Administrator as a Federal-Aid
secondary project eligible for the expenditure of federal funds thereon and eligible
for present construction and the letting of a contract therefor.

Upon motion made by Otto Haase, seconded by John Snowberg and unani-
mously carried, the following resolution was adopted:
RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Otter Tail County
Minnesota, that
WHEREAS Blanche Angel has made application to repurchase from the
State of Minnesota, the following described land which forfeited to the State of
Minnesota for non-payment of taxes for the year 1964 and subsequent years:
Lots 1 and 2, Block A, McMahon's 1st Add 'n, Vill_age of Parkers Prairie
said applicant being owner of record at time of forfeiture.
NOW, 'IHEREFORE, be it hereby resolved the Board of County Com-
missioners of Otter Tail County Minnesota does grant said application, and that
permission to do so will be to the best public interest and relieve •undue hard-
ship.

RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED That effective as of November 1st; 1970 that that
portion of old Trunk Highway No. 59 in and near the community of Dunvilla,
and in Section 12, Township 137 North, Range 42 West, which is not in-
·cluded in the new right of way of Trunk Highway No. 59 in the Township
of Dunn, be revoked as a county road, returning the same back to the
Township of Dunn.

system designed for the accounting requirements of the County.

mously carried, authorizing the County Auditor to advertise for bids for the restor-
ation of circulating fan system and humidifi,\cauciri%h£ air in the· County Court HOuse,
date of receiving of said bids to be set when the County Commissioners convene in
January and set the dates for the year 1971.
