HomeMy WebLinkAboutBoard of Commissioners - Minutes - 06/17/1994MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE OTTER TAIL COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION June 1 7th, 1 994 The Otter Tail County Board of Equalization met Friday, June 17th, 1994, at 9:00 a.m., with Commissioners Malcolm Lee, Virginia Partmann, Bi11 Stone, Harley Windels, and County Auditor Wayne Stein present. Members of the Board signed an oath to faithfully execute and discharge the duties of the County Board of Equalization according to law and to the best of their knowledge, ability and understanding. The County Board of Equalization then adjourned at 5:00 p.m. unt11 June 30th, 1994 at 9:00 a.m., at which time the County Assessor will make his recommendations and the Board will take final action. The County Board of Equalization resumed at 9:00 a.m. on June 30th, 1994. Having reviewed and given consideration to the written requests that had been received and to the individual requests presented to the Board of Equalization on June 17th. 1994, the County Assessor made his recommendations to the Board. It should be noted that the County Assessor's recommendations to the Board include changes to the following individual who did not request consideration of either their valuation or classification, but were the result of an Assessor's correction, comparison or due to the action taken by the Assessor on a property that had a request for consideration: Donald Eggen David Davis Aurdal Township Aurdal Township Valuation Valuation After review, consideration and discussion by the Otter Tail County Board of Equalization, a motion was made by Virginia Partmann, seconded by Bill Stone and unanimously carried to instruct the County Assessor to contact each of the individuals requesting consideration from the County Board of Equalization regarding the Board's action and to accept and approve the recommendations of the County Assessor, as listed above, with the exception of the recommendations presented for Donovan Ellwanger and Donald Gladson. Robert Moe, County Assessor, has requested clar1f1cat1on from the Department of Revenue that m1ght result 1n a change of property classification for Donovan Ellwanger and Donald Gladson.
