U Petition to Partition Perham Township
0
Motion by Windels, seconded Partmann and unanimously carried to deny the petition to
partition Perham Township based upon the following reasons: (l) financial condition of
the township was strong; (2) the surrounding townships which would receive additional
land were opposed, and; (3) the overwhelming majority of persons at the public hearing
were opposed to partition which indicate it neither necessary nor expedient to allow the
petition.
